The split trading is based on our own wetblue and crust production for furniture and automobile leather. Furthermore we obtain large quantities of raw splits from tanneries in Germany and the adjoining countries. The hides are always splitted in lime.

According to the general demand and the respective customer requirements we select our double butt split in fresh condition or conserve the splits by chrome-tanning (wetblue/wetwhite) or brining (wetsalting). Shoulders and bellies are used by the gelatine and collagen industry.
